Well suprisingly I weighed in this morning at 224.2 and won by one pound! Bekah was beating me for most of our little competition. Anyway the moral of the story is we both lost weight and we both broke through our plateaus by once again making it interesting and creating a short-term focused goal!
That is all you truly need to do people. You need to learn how to motivate yourself. What is it? Is it that designer outfit you still cant fit into, the need to look good at a specific event? Do you just want to be healthy and live a more exciting and active life?
Find something you will work for and set it up as a realistic but challenging goal and GO FOR IT!
Also make sure to only weigh yourself once a week at the sametime of day. I recommend once daily in the morning right after going to the bathroom, naked. Then you eliminate confusion caused by clothing, having a full bladder or bowel etc..) Our weights fluctuate slightly throughout the day so this method helps to eliminate some of the variables.
